week of death

this has been a week of death for me.

first, it was mr lee. his passing saw the whole nation mourning and grieving and the mood was terribly low. and then on tuesday, i got a text from a good old friend, whom i had spend my ns years with, that his dad had passed on. i visited the wake last night to pay my respects to his dad after mum went to bed. this morning, i got a text from another friend telling me that my uni lecturer, who taught me several modules during my undergrad years, had succumbed to cancer and died on the same day mr lee died. she was cremated yesterday. and late afternoon, got news from my colleague that our fellow-colleague, who has been suffering from cancer, had been rushed to the hospital. she is in very bad condition and doctors has advised her family members to be prepared for the worst. 

too many deaths for me and too suddenly too. it's really difficult to handle all these deaths almost all at once.
