these days, especially so over the last 2 months, sapphie my dog had been tapping on my bed at around 6-6.30am to wake me up. that was her way of telling me she needed to be brought out to pee. and not only that, she pees in the house at odd hours, out of her routine times almost every other 2 days. such occurrences suggest to me that the routine of bringing her down (to pee) trice a day - at 7.30am, 6.00pm and 9.30pm - no longer suffice and the frequency needs to be increased.
all these meant one thing - she is getting on with age and her ability to control her bladder is getting weaker with each passing days.
