i went to jakarta to conduct training this week. flew off on tue night, conducted training on wed and thur and returned by late thur night. so technically, i was only away for 2 days. anyway, i brought mum to stay with my bro since last sunday and only fetched her yesterday.
told her i would be away from tue to fri night. decided to keep away the details from her. didn't want her to think too much and worst of all, didn't want her to suspect i am trying to get rid of her. i wasn't, just for the record. and for me myself, i needed the break.
and so, i managed to have a day's break. a mental break. worked for half a day on fri before my boss asked me to take the rest of the day off. and managed to head off to the pool to simple blank off, catch a show with bee, and simply do what i wanted to do without worrying about mum getting suspicious etc. while i noted she got a little emo once a while through the week, she seemed pretty ok when i fetched her on saturday morning.
i supposed all's well that ended well…
