then, we had a maid carry the haversack for her "master" soldier. now, we have a soldier surrendering his rifle to a man wielding a screwdriver... what joke. it is moments like this that makes me one helluva embarrassed to tell people i was from the army... i am sure in my time, such things wouldn't have happened. whoever dared threaten me with a screwdriver would get a butt stroke to the head. no second thoughts about it!
on one hand, i would want to see this as a one off incident. but on the other hand, the recent increase in such never heard before cases really make me wonder if it suggest we now have a softer and more guniang generation...
