y&c

some of my fellow bloggers started this young and cute thingee. and my dear friend tuls even proclaimed that february be called the young and cute month! heh heh... tuls went onto his promoter mode and urge everyone to feel young and cute...

well, generally i agree with all he wrote. he mentioned about 16 or 61 (or 69) is but a number. regardless of age, everyone can feel young. nice line... but i noted one glaring thing - he missed out the cute part in this line! hahaha... i am sure that 61, no one will ever feel cute! and for me, even at 45 going 46, i do not feel cute. and worst still, i definitely cannot imagine me dressing cute! hahahaha... so bloody salah isn't it?

but yup, i totally understand what he was trying to say.

if i were to reframe the whole y&c thingee, i would say - being young and cute is about how one loves oneself and can live life to the fullest. cos when one can do so, one will be able to feel the energy of youth (regardless of age) and exude charm (the perenial/ mature version of "cute").

ps: then again, at 61, the definition of cute would probably be - "ugly but adorable"! no?
