office renovation

since the last time my friends and i spoke about office feng shui, i had bought myself a new office chair (see picture). i had spend quite a bit of time selecting one that would be as comfortable as possible. and it was just nice that vhive has an ongoing sale for office chairs! the chair came in on friday and i invited my staffs to give it a try. they were all full of envy! it was so comfortable! (but of cos, i decided to pay for it myself rather than get the company to pay, i do not think it is justifiable cos there is an existing chair for me to sit)... :-)

and over this weekend, my office would be renovated such that all feng shui issues including fluorescent light direction, office door location, direction of opening of office door, etc are all corrected. well, superficially, it seemed like i am superstitious. but frankly, i had not wanted to do all these changes cos i thought it was not required. but given recent developments in manpower staffing, i will be getting new managers coming in over the next couple of months. and to accomodate these new managers, i would have to create new space/ cubicles to house them. and looking around, the only thing i could do would be to tear down my meeting room. and to create a meeting space, the only other space available is the dead space outside my office. the only thing that prevented me from maximizing this space was my office door. it open diagonally across the space. it was therefore necessary for me to move my door. it seemed like everything fell in place quite neatly. heh heh...

i look forward to going back to office tomorrow. new layout, new chair, etc. new start.

:-)

  4. Good for you. :) How about the feng shui at home? I heard the bed cannot face the toilet door too. If it really can't be help because it is not possible to place the bed elsewhere away from the toilet door, then don't sleep with your feet facing the toilet door. They say it might cause sickness because toilet door = death door.

    Do I sound superstitious? ;)

@ladybird: actually fengshui is simply logical thinking... :-)
