let's move on

singapore, you have made your choice.

move on.

time to heal.

time to built.

stop being childish and stop liking useless facebook groupings such as "bring back george yeo..." or "replace tpl with george yeo..." no point being emotional and lashing out at the system. stop the unnecessary name callings. now that the results have been announced, you start to join social network groups and to petition for outcomes that you want... if you feel so strongly about a particular candidate, why did you not exercise your vote wisely? why cry foul after the results were tallied? do you think voting is a game? do you think you can simply remove people after election just by crying out loud in social media? stop being childish.

you were given the right to vote and you have exercised it.

now that the results are out, live with it. what you want might not be what the constituency want. accept it. make the best out of it, for better or for worst. i believe the process we went through has made many more politically aware. that in itself is a good outcome for all of us. it is now up to the newly elected members to make do their promises. we will be watching and evaluating every single one of them, regardless of political affiliations.

so for now, accept the results and move on.

time to wake up to reality.

stop complaining

(ya, i know it is difficult considering how it is also known as a national trait).
