5 out of the 8 oranda goldfishes bee bee and i bought had died. this happened when my dad, at the spur of the moment, decided that he should save electricity for me, and switched off the water pump. when i returned from work some 6 hours later, 5 of them were already lifeless and floating. the other 3 were almost dead and were struggling for air, and swimming upside down. managed to start the pump and saved them. that was about 2.5 weeks back.
today, decided that the time is ripe to top up the fishes again and decided to get 1 red goldfish (oranda) (this is to top up the remaining 3 to 4), 4 white goldfishes and 4 black goldfishes. so, in all, i now have 12 goldfishes :-) and they look very happy and lively. and no, i was not too perturbed about the 4-4-4 combination. most important, they look nice. very nice :-)
and i am sure my dad would never ever dare touch my fish tank again!
