i went for a walk-a-jog around my estate earlier and saw some south asians playing cricket at an undeveloped site. i assumed they were construction workers from the construction sites nearby and didn't think twice about it. as i walked home, i saw a couple of the individuals cycled away and i was quite surprised to see these few cycling past me and towards the direction of my estate (instead of heading towards the construction site) as they bade farewell to the rest of the group.
this inspired quite a few reflections on my part and i shall capture them in 3 parts:
