got a call from the car dealer this afternoon.
car loan has been approved, car inspection by neutral party completed and given a grade "b" (i.e, all clear and satisfactory bill of health), so... yeah, the car will be handed over tomorrow evening. he will call and advice the details of what to bring for the hand-over/ take over of cars.
all good to go. to a new (second hand) start!
