half-recovered mum

well, mum became almost normal by yesterday evening. nonetheless, she was still a little grouchy.

today, everything seemed to revert back to normal and she was cheerful. nonetheless, there were still signs of her moodiness cos my sis came over this afternoon and she told me mum gave her the cold shoulders and insisted that all her children didn't want to look after her. from this, i could only guess that she had not fully returned to her non-dementia self. then again, i am not sure if she could ever return to that state of mind... 

whatever the case, by the time i returned from work, she seemed stable enough. and was cheerful when i brought her out to try out subway sandwiches and chicken sandwiches at burger king. 

let's see how she is tomorrow.
