i hate to do this but with everyone talking about ge, it is not possible not to see, read, or hear about it. it is everywhere. papers, media - both old and new, people's views, etc... well, i supposed there is a lot of hype. and i have my mindsets. and i think there are many misinformation and misguiding going around, especially in online publications like temasek review, mr brown and online citizen (noted these websites tend to post a lot of things but are often incomplete or skewed). hope that end of the day, i just hope everyone can put the nation above self, national interest above self/ community interest, put in the effort to seek out the truth, see the need and not the greed. and let common sense prevail...
(although i know it is quite impossible, especially amongst the younger generations...)

Hi sori to barge in. Just want to add my 2-cents worth. Yes, there are misinformation and biasness in the online publications, but the same can be said of the MSM. And there are also the hidden truths that are waiting to be unearthed.
ReplyDeleteGood day :)
hey hey... you are most welcome to read and respond. no apologies needed. of cos, there are hidden truths, and i do really welcome for them to be revealed. then again, for me, i'd refer to them as facts. and i am trying hard to understand the intentions behind these facts. these will help me make the right decisions. eg minister's pay is high - it is a fact, but - what is the intentions behind the high pay? eg 2, ltk is contesting in aljunied - fact. but what is his real intentions behind contesting in aljunied.
ReplyDeletei need to know and understand the intentions before i know who i should vote for. if the intentions are right, mistakes made can be forgiven. if the intentions are wrong, regardless of how much sweetener thrown at me, the party will never get my vote.
