heard this from a friend of mine who attended a course last week and where a case study was presented.... the case study involved a `controversial' behaviour by a public servant (who belongs to a superbly homophobic government organisation) who had gone to taiwan to attend a gay party... the lecturer then went on to ask the class (all of whom belonged to the same organisation) - how can we have such a character in our organisation? what if he were to start an orgy in the office? how would you react if you were to see a (gay) male public service officer having sex with another male in office?
his questions got the class outraged. has he assumed that if one is gay, then he will definitely organise orgies? how more wrong can he be! well, the class (almost entirely straight) did not take this too well. to his second question, the class replied - "just as i would react if i were to catch a male public service officer having sex with another female officer in office... for that matter, if he were to have sex with a dog..."
the lecturer, sensing the potential hostility he would face if he were to continue to pursue his homophobic views, quickly moved on to another topic...
