bee visited me over the weekend in china and he had the first hand experience with the local transport system and the crowd there. think it was an eye-opener for him - the pushing, the talking loudly, the running between metro platforms, etc...
anyway, during the short day and a half visit, we managed to view some major tourist attractions - canton tower, the guangzhou river mouth, the tian he shopping belt, chan clan ancestor hall, etc. and of cos, a trip to the lotus mountain (lianhua san) where we toured around the temple and its surrounding areas. also had the chance to bring him to enjoy some of the local food, and not forgetting, the dim sum (which they are famous for).
thought it was a good short getaway for him.
