car breakdown

my car broke down this morning. and it couldn't have happened at a better time!

it happened when i brought mum to the market for breakfast. might as well, i thought. i would be heading off to larry's place for my annual get together this evening and had agreed with mum that we would not visit my brother's place today. i was also exhausted 3 days of travelling and i could do with a good days' rest before heading out again this evening. added to that, i could also sense mum's tiredness from her lower energy levels today.

so, yeah, the car breakdown gives me the chance to recuperate. and it also provided a great distraction to mum from the daily routines.
