it is an interesting feeling for me as i wrote about my post-uni personal life. i had been slowly building up my life story in this blog. and this whole self-reflective and inward-looking process had taken me a couple of years to reach where i am.
i started blogging in 2005. when i blog, i was capturing my own life as i lived it. and at the end of each year, i would write a summary to give each year a descriptor. and as i wrote on, i started getting the urge to want to capture my past. and i did. i started reflecting things topic by topic. and then, i started writing about my childhood, and my school days, and my ns days... and i kept on and on. i knew that one day, i would reach a point where my writings about my past would catch up with my starting point of my blog in 2005... and i can see that happening very soon! in fact, as i reflected on my post-uni personal life, i could also imagine myself writing about my post-uni work life (up till 1996). i think there would be a post about my personal life from 1996 till about 1998 when i got to know james... and probably one too on my work life during about the same period...
and after that... there is really nothing more to write cos my writing would have caught up with me when i started this blog! thinking about it, i could almost feel the sense of loss. probably that same withdrawal feeling a writer would feel after he/ she completes writing the last book of a series... no?
heh heh...
