omg! i think i might have poisoned my goldfishes when i added too much potassium permanganate into the water!
i decided to clean the fish tank and change the water earlier. and placed all my 9 gold fishes into a pail. and becos quite a few showed signs of white spots, i decided to drop some potassium permanganate solution into the pail as i prceeded to wash the tank... 10 minutes later, i noticed a few of the goldfishes floating upside down and swimming weakly... i quickly transferred them back to the tank... and it's been more than 2 hours, and they all still looked v sad and not as active. and the 3 larger ones are still upside down! and hmmm, nearly all of them have brownish lips... signs of oxidation caused by the potassium permanganate solution!
