was at cali pizza kitchen with bee earlier this evening and had the chance to be served by some very familiar faces. they had been there for many years (since i was with james). and after our meal i called for the check and one of them came up to me and said : "hey, i think you've put on weight!"
and i must admit that at that very point in time, i was taken aback by this remark and did not know how to respond. i remembered saying something like: "oh, you've observed" (!?!)... hmmm, anyway, when he came back with the receipts, i had regained sufficient composure/ sanity to reply properly... and told him that "when i return next time, i will be slimmer"...
but really, i think i have to slim down too... a waistline of 35" is a tat too large for my frame...
