releasing tortoise

finally released tortoise. decided to release it into the pond at the tanah merah industrial park. it was a rather huge pond and has a a good population of tortoises there. when i dropped tortoise into the pond, it took to the water like a fish, dived into it and swam off. moments later, tortoise surfaced, stared at me for a couple of seconds and dived into the algae-rich water again. soon enough, tortoise was swimming around with one other tortoise (about the same size...)

glad that tortoise has company now. then again, for a split moment, i wondered if they were of the same gender... hahahaha!
