paid a visit to my doctor this morning for me regular check-up. told him of my recent periodic check-up with my company doctor and about the hearing loss.
he seemed worried and shared with me that there are many possible causes for such hearing losses. one possibility could be that there is a cancerous growth on one of my hearing nerves. and usually such growths are benign. nonetheless, trends have shown that such cancerous growth will grow and may complicate matters. and to treat it, it would usually involve undergoing an operation to remove the growth. nonetheless, he advised me to go for all the test possible first before making any conclusions.
so, in the meantime, i will have to wait for my follow-up checks...
