this week 4 nov, sapphie turned 14.
a grand old dame for a dog but still she behaves like a puppy. still as playful, still as active. ok, maybe a little lethargic, but well, for her age, she's considered hyperactive! anyway, as she's vegetarian, i gave her her favorite peanut butter sandwich as a birthday treat! and 2 days later, half a papaya.
and she happily ate everything!

p/s is it safe to give peanut butter as doggie treat ? Coz my vet once told me that processed sugar isn't good for their digestive tract...

ReplyDeletei guess anything in extremes is not good. same applies to peanut butter. it's a treat for her once a while. and talking about processed food, well, my dog has been on processed dry dog food (both non as well as vegetarian) her whole life.
