our normal mental model is that when we receive, we are always the one feeling indebted to the person who gives us the gift. but do we not realize that sometimes when we receive, we end up giving more?
eg when someone eats what you cook, do you not feel very happy? when someone accepts your help, do you not feel the satisfaction of being in a position to help? when someone accepts your love, do you not feel loved in return? for all of these, your feeling is priceless right?
