this is a story about 2 aspiring artistes and their struggles to achieve success in hollywood. the story focused on how they met, fell in love, put their relationship aside in favour of career, and ended with how they eventually met again 5 years later, each having their own lives. simple story. and perhaps true to the story, the lead actor (ryan gosling) and actress (emma stone) and everyone else in the show came across as really amateurish in their acting. nonetheless, this show was a feel-good show and i enjoyed the overall production and its music. there were of cos a few little gems that surprised me - john legend, nicely choreographed dances, haunting music pieces, etc...
nice way to spend my last night in taipei.
