... no, not me. sapphie. she has been scratching a lot lately. and at times, she would yelp in the middle of the night. and this was becos she scratched her ears and hit a sore spot. rather funny i must say.
and so, i decided to use a cotton to check her ear canal. and true enough, i saw white powdery looking patches. took her to the vet, did some tests and finally confirmed that she was having a serious case of bacterial infection. otherwise, her blood test showed good signs of liver, thyroid and kidney functions. so now, i have to clean her ear canal with medication twice daily. when i cleansed it the first time, i noticed gooey substances (looked like mucus) coming out of the ear canal. and they came out in "blops". rather sickening looking. reminded me of human nose mucus when you get a cold except that this time round, it came from a dog's ear and had a sickly brown-green colour...
hmmm, ok, shan't describe further. this should be gross enough...
