hiv test

been almost a year since my last hiv test. went for another round this week. felt the need to do it and admittedly, this was the first time i actually did it on my own accord (my previous 2 times were done as part of a medical requirement due to employment/ recommended by doctor following a health check).

i decided to undergo the aht (anonymous hiv test) and did it at the clinic near my office. this time round, did the mouth swap test instead of blood test. the whole process was rather straight forward and the doctor was very nice about it. did the swap, waited for about 20 min before i went back into the consultation room. we chatted quite casually and i asked him about things related to say, prep, etc.  and interestingly, when i asked about the cost, he told me that many prefer to get the medication from overseas such as bangkok cos its a lot cheaper. from the mannerism and the way he spoke, i kinda also concluded the doctor was gay. made the whole transaction a lot easier.

and the results - clear/ negative.

  1. Hi Jeffrey,

    Congratulations on the results.

I haven't made any progress on the Spider dream, beyond it has definite stress dream characteristics, but it feels like it's more. I like your realization that you are the boss :-)

The reason the two issues are connected for me is a google search revealed Papaya seeds are an old treatment for intestinal bugs (pre antibiotics for fecal matter transmission). They were a striking feature of the dream.

I don't know the symbolism the Papaya seeds might have for you. But, just in case the universe is sending a message, I'm hearing people who have gone to Prep and stopped using condoms are catching the old STD (makes sense since there is no barrier). FYI.

    Regards, Edwin

  2. Ya. Recently my colleague lost one patient antiviral drug. Omg. The drug sold in sg. One tablet=50SGD. Whereby you can get one bottle 100SGD in bkk. Nonetheless, I have a few seller contact numbers if needed.
