bad eye

my bad eye lasted for quite a while.

i wore my glasses until this week and i only started to put on my contact lenses again tuesday. and i must really add that the weeks when i had my glasses on were really really bad. it felt like i was in a state of dream. didn't feel real and everything seemed to be so... well, short of a better word - framed. and to make it worst, the spectacles didn't sit too well on my nose (bridge) and my face felt terribly oily. this was compounded by the superbly hot and humid weather. totally didn't like it. the interesting was, and i think it was due to my swollen eye ball, my presbyopia got so bad i couldn't really read the newspaper unless i took off my glasses. really, i have never felt so old before until lately!
