looking after mum

these past two weeks had passed really fast! i guessed i was busy with visiting my mum at the hospital. and frankly, the days passed by really quickly. my routine was like - wake up, walk the dog, breakfast, a bit of housework, visit mum, home, a bit of housework, walk the dog, visit mum, home and zzz... it looked very simple and very brainless. but it was certainly very tiring and very draining.

but of cos, i am not complaining about it. in fact, i was very happy that i was able to spent my time with her.

thinking about it, it was perhaps a great blessing that i had left service and have been able to spent my time with her given that i am currently unemployed. this allowed me to devote my time to her and to make sure she has the best care ever. seeing her smile, talking to her daily and taking care of her to my best ability is the very least i can do for her now that she is old and experiencing all sorts of old age issues.

:-)
