celebrated kwang's belated birthday earlier with a bunch of uni friends and bee bee. korean dinner at novena square 2. foods not too bad. bu what was really fun was the fact that we spent quite a bit of time reminiscing about our childhood days and about cartoons and shows of the years gone by. and for once, i have friends who were able to sing jingles from `the little frog' (xiao qing wa) or adventures of little bao (xiao bao li xian ji), friends who totally understand and appreciate what you meant when you spoke of kampong life, of chasing chickens or getting chased by goose (bee bee was rather amazed by the fact that we actually chased chickens... and why we were chased by goose and not the other way round)!
amazing how there is this generation gap even between people in their late twenties (my bee bee and his friends) and people in our early forties! and i am saying this cos when i was with people in their late twenties, no one, not a single one could identify with all the characters of the shows that i was so fond of :-)

u are goin to scream at me. I was actually in SGP & trying to contact u but realized the phone number i had was obsolete.
